week 1 session 2

in Thursday's class we were paired with an affirmative group to debate the topic of " is 21st Century New Zealand equal?". My team had to argue against that statement. We talked about Gender inequality, racial and cultural inequality as well as educational inequality. 

after this we had to brain storm about an issue we were interested in. I first started looking into gender inequality and then found out more about the Rape culture in New Zealand. 

1 in 5 women will be sexually assaulted .
